19 Make-up and jewellery We ask for your co-operation in ensuring that pupils do not wear make-up and nail varnish. Hair should be neat and tidy, and if long enough, tied up; ‘fashion’ hair styles and colouring are not appropriate. Pupils with pierced ears must wear studs as hoops can prove dangerous during playtimes. Watches may be worn but we cannot accept any responsibility for their loss or damage. All earrings must be removed for all PE and games activities. Please note that this rule will be enforced and pupils cannot miss PE lessons because of problems with earrings. Lost property We always try to return lost items and it helps us enormously if you name clothing. If something does go missing then there are lost property stores in the entrance by the office.
