What a day we had at Nelson Academy when the fantastic MC Grammar came to visit!
The excitement was building from the moment the children arrived at school. With everyone getting into the spirit of the day, our children transformed into mini rappers, sporting big chains, sunglasses and baseball caps. The school was full of colour, smiles and an incredible buzz!
MC Grammar had the children captivated as he brought some of their favourite children’s books to life through the power of rap. Combining books, music, rhythm and humour, he showed the children that reading can be exciting, creative and, most importantly, lots of fun!
There was an amazing atmosphere throughout the school, with children eagerly joining in, laughing, rapping along and enjoying every moment. It was wonderful to see so many children completely immersed in the experience and inspired by MC Grammar’s energy and enthusiasm.
The visit was about so much more than just music. It encouraged our children to love books, celebrate creativity and express themselves with confidence. It showed them that stories can be enjoyed in all sorts of different ways and that learning really can be an unforgettable experience.
There was a real buzz around Nelson Academy all day, and the smiles on the children’s faces said it all. It was a day filled with laughter, inspiration and incredible memories that our children will remember for a very long time.
