Year 3 have been learning about Red Pandas as part of their persuasive writing in English. They really enjoyed learning about them and many of the children did extra work at home for fun. The children brought in donations and they were able to adopt a Red Panda named Ninamma, which means Angel.
Ninamma is brave, determined, and loves an adventure. She was displaced from her home due to deforestation and travelled over 21km to reach her new home: a protected forest in RPN's project area. She now enjoys the peace of her mountain home without disturbance and enjoys watching the birds fly overhead!
