This was Year 5's Science Spectacular on Circulation. Mrs. Melia (our Science lead) demonstrated a dissection and we all had the opportunity to get our hands stuck in if we wanted to. “The BEST lesson of the year!” was the feedback from several of our future surgeons! This also linked to our jubilee decade of the 1960s, as the first successful heart transplant took place in South Africa in the 1960s.
