This year, Downham In Bloom invited our two reception classes to take part in a competition to commemorate the Coronation of King Charles III. 

They were each given a seed tray and asked to create a garden using the Coronation as the theme.

The Downham In Bloom team have been in to see the children's amazing garden trays and we should find out soon who the winner or winners are. All the trays have been photographed by a professional photographer from the Downham In Bloom team and these photos, along with entries from 6 other schools, will be displayed in the Town Hall on Friday 21st July for all to see. 

Nelson Academy has the most entries out of all the schools that have entered the competition with an amazing 28 entries!
