Nelson Academy is devoted to reducing the amount of litter at our school and in the surrounding area.  Last year we took part in the Great British School Spring Clean and collected over 20 bags of rubbish.  This year we have pledged to collect 30 bags over the two-week period.  We have already made a great start.  Seven bags of rubbish have been collected at school, and we even have our students collecting at home ensuring that our communities are benefitting as well - every piece of rubbish collected keeps it out of the pathway of wildlife and out of our oceans.  Everyone can collect and if you do, be sure to let me know how much you have collected.
