Autism Acceptance Day

Rainbow theme and sponsored walk for Autism Acceptance Day

The last week of the spring term was Autism Acceptance Week and on Thursday 30th of March, we had a day full of activities to raise awareness of Autism within school, with the theme being COLOUR. Children were asked to dress up in bright colours, there was a rainbow art competition and the children took part in a sponsored walk to raise money for the National Autistic Society, for which the school raised £750! The children also learnt about Autism and how they can support those on the spectrum.

A massive Thank You to Cornelia Leach for organising the day and to all those who took part in raising such an amazing amount of money!
